The Cutty Sark Tall Ships Visited Dublin from
22nd to the 24 th of August 1988 for what was
the final leg of the race. The Late Charles J.
Haughey was responsible for bringing the Ships to Dublin port.

The tall ships visit to Dublin was four years in the planning anfd they were here for just four days. I would imagine whilst the ships  were berthed alongside  the Liffey it must have being reminesent of what the port looked like many years ago.
